I am a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Biochemistry at Stanford University. I study the cellular mechanisms that underlie inherited forms of Parkinson's disease. Starting July 2023, I will be an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Cell Biology & Physiology and Neurology within The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My lab will study the molecular machinery that facilitates interactions amongst neurons and astrocytes, and how these processes are impacted by advanced age and neurodegenerative diseases.
