Dr. Arciniega is a new Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. He completed his postdoctoral research fellowship at Harvard Medical School and graduate training at the University of Nevada, Reno where the central aim of his research was to understand better the cognitive and neural consequences of head injuries. Most recently he has worked on the DIAGNOSE CTE Research Project where he was interested in understanding the consequences associated with repetitive head impacts in former American football players, which can potentially aid in developing an in vivo biomarker for CTE.
