Dr. Naima Dahir is an assistant Professor at UTSW. The Dahir group opened it's doors in February 2026. The lab currently focuses on sensory and motor processing related to ingestuve behavior. Particularly how extrinsic and intrinsic sensory stimuli influence eating behaviors using mouse models.
