Dr. Naima Dahir is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Life Sciences Institute at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Under the direction of Dr. Roger Cone, Naima's current research involves dissecting the neural circuits of the central melanocortin system in motivated behaviors. She is particularly interested in how extrinsic and intrinsic sensory stimuli influence eating behaviors using mouse models.
