I am a postdoctoral fellow and NIH K00 DSPAN scholar at the Salk Institute in San Diego, CA. I study astrocyte-neuron interactions in neurodevelopment and associated disorders in the lab of Dr. Nicola Allen. I am co-chair of our SACNAS at Salk chapter and a 2024 Leading Edge Fellow. I received my PhD in Neuroscience from Harvard University where I studied the role of dopamine-receptor expressing serotonergic neurons in the modulation of behavior in the lab of Dr. Susan Dymecki. I am originally from Arizona and received my BA from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR.
